I’m Professional Rodeo Announcer Seth Maxie and I was born and raised in Hattiesburg, Ms.
As a young man growing up in the livestock industry I was drawn to and developed a passion for Rodeo. I fell in love with the crowd, the lights, and the energy that is rodeo. In high school, I became a competitor in the steer wrestling event but quickly learned my true calling was to be an announcer.
As a first generation rodeo professional, the road hasn’t always been easy, but even with the ups and downs, this sport has ignited a fire inside me that can not easily be extinguished.
My career over the last 15+ years has allowed me to travel from Southern Florida to Northern Montana and many other towns in between. I have been very blessed to be able to call the shots at rodeos all over the country and I can say without a doubt that I am excited about what God has in store for my future.

A family affair.
Maxie also reads Pedigrees at some of the most prestigious horse sales in the country. He is also known for his charisma and negotiation skills as a trained Professional Ringman. When Maxie is not on the road, he enjoys spending time with his daughters Magnolia and Mollie and his lovely wife Kellye.
